Our audition process is designed so that we are auditioning for YOU as much as you are for us. Our philosophies must be well-aligned. Our unique audition format acts as your guide as you discover the Acton learning design and philosophy. As you go through, you will be asked to reflect on your ideas about education to ensure that our environment and execution are REALLY what you want for your family!
We offer enrollment in September and January each year.

Equip yourself with more information on the Acton model and if it is right for your family. Read Courage to Grow by Laura Sandefer, request our info kit, and watch the videos on our homepage.
Step 2: TOUR
Next, we invite you to schedule a campus tour.
STEP 3: SHADOW
The hero shadow day is an excellent way for us to get to know your child and allow them to experience learning at Acton Academy Lakeside. Young heroes (ages 4-7) meet with the Spark guide after school and older heroes spend the day in one of our studios.
STEP 4: FAMILY INTERVIEW
After your child’s hero day, we may follow up to schedule a time to review any remaining questions, while again asking “Are you sure Acton is right for your family?”
Enrollment to our school will be confirmed upon receipt of the enrollment fee, and signed enrollment documents.

TUITION
Acton Academy Lakeside is an alternative, Christian private school which operates on a non-traditional schedule. The 10 month school year is broken up into “sessions” that are typically 4-6 weeks with a 1-week or 2-week break in between. There is a 9 week break in the summer.
Spark Studio Full Day – $9,295 annually
Spark Studio Half Day – $4,648 annually
Exploration Studio and Middle School Studio – $9,295 annually
In addition, there is a $320 enrollment fee and small one-time fee to use our online tuition payment system. Tuition covers all field trips, materials, equipment, etc. There are no other expenses or fundraising requests during the year.
A sibling discount of $500 per child (after the first full tuition child) will be applied to families that have multiple children enrolled. In addition, we offer pastoral, first responder, and military veteran discounts.
We are also a part of the Ohio Christian Education Network which offers scholarships to Acton learners through its Scholarship Granting Organization.
